CISC and its partners hosted this event exploring green infrastructure's potential to transform our urban centers and restore our watersheds. The discussion touched on the programs and plans of the US EPA, NYC, and NY State's Smart Growth program for communities in the region. The program was the first in a series designed to increase awareness and dialogue between residents and stakeholders of New York City and other communities in the Hudson Watershed.

In recognition of the quadricentennial of Henry Hudson’s 1609 voyage up the Hudson River, an all day conference was held that examined New York City as a landmark case history in environmental sustainability. Thank you to all who attended, supported, and volunteered.
