The Institute for Sustainable Cities offers internship placement assistance to CUNY students in all fields of study and levels of experience on both the undergraduate and graduate level. Through these internships, students do hands-on work with government agencies, nonprofits, and private businesses and become familiar with the variety of entry points into the sustainability movement.
During the academic year (not counting Summers): CISC’s Internship Coordinator visits CUNY campuses to discuss environmental internship opportunities and the process of obtaining an internship. The Eco Internship Placement Program also offers students the opportunity to meet one-on one with CISC’s Internship Coordinator to discuss their interests, skills and goals Students who participate in the service are provided with individual assistance on obtaining an internship and a personalized internship resource list.
