Jason Nu

From Urban Earth

Jason Nu graduated from Wesleyan University in 2000 with a BA in film studies, and has been enrolled since January 2007 as an MA degree candidate in the Geography department at Hunter College. Since joining CISC as a Research Assistant in July 2007, he has been working on the development of the Institute’s Urban Earth wiki as well as serving as a docent for CISC’s climate change exhibition on Governor’s Island. His research interests include urban geography, the built environment, globalization and world cities studies, sustainability and climate change, population geography, GIS and remote sensing, data visualization, and quantitative methods.
